Opened in 2018 in the heart of the Las Vegas Arts District on South Casino Center Blvd, our Downtown location is one of the original Tacotarian restaurants — the spot that helped build a movement, earned national recognition, and proved that plant-based food could be bold, filling, and genuinely delicious.

Our menu is 100% plant-based, built around house-made seitan and jackfruit proteins crafted from scratch every day. We don't do anything halfway — the flavors are deep, the portions are generous, and the vibe is exactly what the Arts District is known for: creative, unpretentious, and alive.
As a Latin and women-owned business, we also donate 5% of proceeds from select items to local charities. Every taco you eat here does a little good in the world.

Born in Las Vegas. Inspired by Mexico City.
Tacotarian was founded by two couples — Dan & Regina Simmons and Carlos & Kristen Corral — after a trip to Regina's hometown of Mexico City. They came back inspired by the flavors, the street food culture, and the idea that Mexican cuisine could be celebrated in a whole new way.
In 2018, they opened the first Tacotarian in Downtown Las Vegas with a simple mission: save the world one taco at a time. What started as one location in the Arts District has since grown to five restaurants across Las Vegas and San Diego, a retail line of shelf-stable taco fillings, and a catering operation that feeds thousands of people a year.
The Downtown location is still the heart of it all. It's where the recipes were perfected, where the Giant Taco was born, and where our community first gathered around a shared table.

Our Downtown location sits in the Las Vegas Arts District — one of the most distinctive neighborhoods in the city, known for its galleries, murals, independent restaurants, and creative energy. We're on South Casino Center Blvd, just minutes from Fremont Street, the Downtown Container Park, and the Fremont East Entertainment District.
Nearby landmarks: We're a short walk or rideshare from Fremont Street Experience, the Mob Museum, Neon Museum, Discovery Children's Museum, and the entire stretch of Downtown Las Vegas. If you're exploring DTLV for the day, we're a natural stop for lunch or dinner.
Parking: Street parking is available on Casino Center Blvd and surrounding streets. There are also several surface lots nearby, including the lot directly adjacent to our building. Parking is generally easy compared to the Strip — one of the many perks of being in Downtown.
By rideshare: Drop-off directly in front of the building on S Casino Center Blvd. We're about 10 minutes by car from the Las Vegas Strip and about 5 minutes from Fremont Street.

Many of our items are gluten-free or can be modified. Our corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free. Please let your server know about any dietary needs and they'll guide you through the menu. Our kitchen does handle gluten-containing ingredients.
