🌱 Why This Recipe Works:

Pupusas are naturally gluten-free and endlessly versatile. By using Tacotarian at Home’s plant-based birria, you get all the savory richness of slow-braised meat with none of the animal products. It’s a perfect dish for vegans, flexitarians, or anyone looking for new ways to enjoy birria recipes beyond tacos.

The curtido — a tangy slaw made from cabbage, carrots, jalapeño, and oregano — adds a refreshing crunch that perfectly balances the hearty filling. And the homemade tomato salsa (just six ingredients!) rounds everything out.
