Veganuary Las Vegas- Vegan Foodie Month
We are participating in Veganuary Las Vegas this month (brought to you by our good friend Diana at Vegans, Baby). If you’re a regular, a foodie, or just love to try new things, you’ll be super excited about this. It means we have NEW MENU ITEMS, but only for this month. So come on in ASAP and see what all the hype is about.
What is “Veganuary”?
“Launched in the UK in January 2014, Veganuary (pronounced vee-GAN-uary) is a registered charity (1168566) that encourages people to try vegan for January.
Veganuary is dedicated to changing public attitudes, while providing all the information and practical support required to make the transition to veganism as easy and enjoyable as possible. Veganuary has had an incredible degree of success in a very short time and is changing lives all over the world.
Veganuary’s founders, Jane and Matthew, knew that month-long pledges were not unusual, but felt that it could be done differently, and perhaps more successfully, by focusing on the month of January; a time for resolutions and new beginnings.”
What is Veganuary in Las Vegas?
Vegans, Baby presents the second annual Veganuary Las Vegas, a city wide dining month encouraging people to try more vegan food. With more than 30 restaurants participating, it gives veg curious foodies an exciting reason to eat out in January. The best part is it’s all for a great cause. Check out our Veganuary Menu!
We wanted to create a menu that gets people excited. Traditional Mexican staples like tortilla soup and carne asada tortas are dishes that vegans don’t often get to enjoy. We love the buzz that is going around about the dishes we are showcasing this month.
Can I order Veganuary items TOGO?
Yes, you can order Veganuary menu items via our website and pick up in the restaurant. You can not order these items via postmates or other delivery apps. Don’t forget we have happy hour M-F 3-6, so you could potentially enjoy some chicken mole chilaquiles with a margarita or craft beer after work.
How Tacotarian gives back
We will be giving 5% of our Veganuary menu proceeds to Nevada SPCA. As a plant based restaurant we love giving back to local non-profits, especially animal ones.
